Training Description
The seminar aims to strengthen a unified understanding of the concept and meaning of sustainable packaging, raise stakeholder awareness of the environmental impacts of traditional packaging when not properly disposed of, promote the adoption of eco-friendly practices, and highlight the urgent need for more sustainable alternatives.
Objectives
- Understand the fundamentals of packaging and its impact on environmental sustainability.
2. Recognize the importance of sustainable packaging practices within a circular economy framework.
3. Identify current initiatives and strategies that support the transition to more sustainable packaging solutions.
4. Apply key insights and best practices to promote more sustainable packaging in their respective sectors.
Methodologies
The course will be conducted face to face in the form of lecture. Pre-test will be done prior to the seminar to assess participants' knowledge and understanding about the course. A proof of attendance will be issued to all participants upon completion of the course and have accomplished all the forms required. Certificate of completion will be given to those who have passed the post-test (70% passing rate).
